 We are delighted to share our love for Yoga with you!

About us:

Nathalie came into touch with Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in India at a very young age, when she was travelling around the world. She has been studying Ashtanga Yoga for more than 25 years with her dear teacher, friend and wild Yogi legend Cliff Barber. She calls many well-known Ashtanga Yoga teachers her close friends from the beginning of Ashtanga Yoga in the West… Nathalie is also a very experienced Yoga teacher for many years and she is regularly teaching in her lovely Yoga community in Crete. In 2019 Nathalie made her dream come true and created together with her partner Andreas a magical place for yoga retreats in Tertsa (Crete) – in beautiful nature and close to the beach…

Brigitte fell in love with Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga five years ago - and since then, she continiously immersed in Ashtanga Yoga  with very experienced teachers in Germany, the US and in India. Brigitte is regularly teaching Yoga in her sweet community in Germany and organizing workshops with her Yoga teacher friends from all over the world.

It was Yoga, of course, that brought us together – and we immediately felt familiar and connected with each other.

On our first meeting in Tertsa, we spontaneously started co-teaching Yoga every day – and it was a wonderful experience for everybody...

So the idea was born to do a Yoga retreat together… - And here we are…

Our schedule:

Morning Sessions: every day 08:30 - 11:00

Refreshing Asana Vinyasa practice. – We will support you in your individual form while enjoying the flow of our group practice.

Every day, we will set a specific impulse and focus on the asana practice to give you a deeper insight and some inspirations for your individual practice and specific needs…

Three evening sessions:

1. Philosophy We will talk about the background and philosophical aspects of Yoga as lifelong mindful path for inner peace and freedom.

2.  Pranayama We will give a smooth introduction into Pranayama as a practice of calming your mind with breathing exercises

3.    Meditation: On our last evening, we will get together for a meditation session to recollect.... This evening will be inspired by what has been  growing and what we experienced during our time together in this retreat…

The place:

Tertsa is a tiny village hidden in a beachside valley on the south side of Crete. It is a heaven for those that seek true retreat from the fast paced modern world. Off the usual tourist trail, Tertsa’s lush valley and beachfront location offer the best of Crete; living in harmony with nature, generous hospitality, a slow paced lifestyle and the shining Mediterranean sea…


Live close to nature- in style!

Yoga evolved from nature. The original yogis were totally in tune with nature. We have created an opportunity for you to experience living close to the elements while being completely comfortable!

We have a four large and beautiful cotton canvas tents. Each can accommodate two people comfortably. These beautiful structures include a mesh wall that zips onto the groundsheet and canopy, allowing you to roll up the canvas walls for maximum ventilation and view while being totally protected and bug free.

All of our tents are fully furnished including comfortable mattresses, bedding and towels. Fall asleep to the smell of wild Cretan herbs! .

There are outdoor showers and toilets which are shared by the tents in the camping area. Each tent sleeps two people. Couples can arrange to have their own tent.

Right under the yoga shala and overlooking the lush sub-tropical valley of Tertsa and the sea, is our boho style guest accommodation. that comfortably accommodates 4 people


Daily vegetarian brunch after morning practice and three dinners during the week after practice. Locally prepared meals using the abundance of local produce.
